Mariusz Markisz is the Officer responsible for Organisation Development. This means he will be supporting the implementation of BAS Strategy and overseeing the development of our regional outfits. 
Mariusz Markisz is a graduate of Technical University of Budapest (M.Sc. in Computer Science Engineering and Economy). In the U.K. he was attending a Postgraduate course in Contemporary European Studies at the Sussex University in Brighton (Chevening – Joseph Conrad Scholar). Currently being President of the Board of UNEX Sp. z o.o. deals mainly with commodities (grain, coal, energy), trades within the EU and between Europe and FSU-countries, is involved in investment projects in this part of the world. Within BAS Management Board, he was elected as Auxiliary Member and was later assigned the responsibility for Organisation Development. He says: “We started out as a group who all new each other, now we have grown a substantial membership it is vital that people should get together more often. This could be strictly social, weekend events, or perhaps platforms which have more to do with people’s everyday work. Members ought to be able to contact one another, without having to go through a central authority and in a way that opens the whole network to them. Regional and interest groups are one way of making that happen. We would also help set up a mentoring programme for our younger members, to support their development. - supporting the development and organisation of BAS and BAS' regional groups
- participation in organisation of regional events; - participation in organization of joint events (with co-operating Alumni organisations);
- contact point for co-operating Alumni organisations and regional groups.
