As you know, the Annual General Meeting, open to all BAS members, will take place on the 18th of December 2009 to decide on the future of our organisation. The Annual General Meeting of Members is the highest authority in BAS - elects the Management Board as its representatives to run the organisation on a regular basis as well as the Reviewing Committee to keep an eye on smooth functioning of the Society. Any member can stand in the elections to the Management Board or the Reviewing Committee, but please bear in mind that these are positions which require dedication and time to fulfil the mission. The Management Board is made up of 3-10 members, which include the President, Vice-President and Members. The Reviewing Committee is made up of 3-7 members, which include the President, Vice-President, Secretary and Members.
All these posts are currently unpaid.
Candidates are to present themselves by sending short bios and their plan for action (application form HERE). They should also indicate which position in the Management Board or the Reviewing Committee they would like to take and why. All information provided will be displayed on BAS website www.bas.org.pl 7 days prior to AGM.
